Ready, Set… COOK!

Sometimes life is too busy to have time to go to the grocery store AND have time to cook. So many people end up cooking the same go to meals over and over because they keep the ingredients on hand more often and know their family will eat it. BUT- their family may eventually loathe a dish they once loved due to the frequency. In this house the go to tends to be White Chicken Chili, Beef Chili, Chicken Pot Pie, Pot Roast, Thanksgiving style Turkey Breast, Zoodles, Beef Tacos, Chicken Alfredo, Salads, Shrimp Scampi – all decently healthy, tasty meals (some from scratch and others with the cheat seasoning packs) but nonetheless the same old same old more often than not. Trying to switch it up for my family I began to explore the fresh, cook at home, meal delivery services. I didn’t know where to begin. I tried to compare some different choices… but how can one really, truly compare the products without trying them out. Of course if someone does try them out as different circumstances come and go in their life it changes their moods and opinions of the products. -SO- Somehow after an hour or so I found myself subscribed to FOUR of what seemed to be the major competitors – Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, Home Chef and Plated. Thus begins my frenzy in the kitchen as I try to cook 8 different fresh delivered recipes a week to decide which product is the best option for my family.
Deliveries Arriving – February 8th, 10th, 13th and 14th!
